NJ Audubon and Cornell's eBird have teamed up to provide news of sightings, records, as well as a way to record your own reports and records. eBird is where it's at!
 


New Jersey DEP/ Fish and Wildlife Service. Here you'll find previous results of the statewide Midwinter Eagle Survey. Go to Wildlife > Endangered & Nongame Species > Raptors > Bald Eagle.
 


Christmas Bird Counts: This site is operated by the National Audubon Society and the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology. It is the place to go to find results of Christmas Bird Counts, nationwide.
 



Salem County Nature Club meets the 2nd Tuesday at 7:00 PM each month at the Senior Citizens Center in Alloway NJ. Regular nature walks are planned for the weeks following each meeting.
 




Breeding Bird Surveys are performed across the country during each breeding season. New Jersey has many, some of which are currently vacant. Much of the work is done before sunrise, so knowledge of birdsongs is important.
 



Woodcreeper uses radar each night to monitor migrating birds and then forecasts likely 'fallouts' each morning. Pretty cool!
