Salem County Birding guides your interests in birding and the outdoors to other birders in Southern New Jersey and organized scientific efforts in the region. The site is also a repository for some of those records.
Our members compile four Christmas Bird Counts, help coordinate the New Jersey Midwinter Eagle Survey, have organized the Salem County Raptor Census for over 25 years, and expanded it into Gloucester and Cumberland Counties in 2010.
